It's a wash

Post title = 1. My face is pretty washed out in these pics; 2. I really need to do some laundry and this is a subtle reminder to myself to do that tonight. My 30 picks have dwindled significantly, making this feel more like a 10-30-30+ (ten items, thirty outfits, waaay too many days to count).

Again and again (and again and again)

I'm taking a brief break from my 30-30 for a different remix challenge, this time from Mata Traders. When they asked if I wanted to participate, I was thrilled to say yes -- Mata Trader's classic cuts and eye-popping prints make me swoon, plus all their clothes are fair trade. I was drawn to the saddleback skirt because it transitions perfectly across the seasons, and can walk that fine line between vintage and modern.

skirt: c/o mata traders (exact) // sweater: thrifted, ME // socks: urban outfitters (similar) // belt: thrifted, VT //
necklace: c/o mata traders (exact) // boots: h&m

skirt: c/o Mata Traders (exact) // chambray: forever 21 // vest: thrifted, VT //
wool cardigan: thrifted, IA // bag: h&m (exact) // shoes: marshall's

skirt: c/o mata traders (exact) // stripes: h&m via thrift, CA // cardigan: j crew factory (exact) // blazer: thrifted, CA //
boots: steve madden // scarf: thrifted, CA // glasses: c/o (exact)

It's taken me a forever to get this post up -- the fault is entirely mine, and not the skirt's -- but you can also see how I styled it back in October (with bare legs!), below (and read the full post, here).

Rain, rain...

pants: h&m // boots: urban (exact) // socks: urban (exact) // chambray: forever 21 //
cardigan: loft (exact) // bag: gift -- thanks, Tim!

I made the foolish mistake of showering while down a hair dryer, so I had to brave Maine's recent cold wet weather with the questionable pairing of damp hair and a beanie (and, for good measure, no make-up too). This hairstyle is brought to you by icicles in my ears and a bad case of hat head, which -- pro tip -- is clearly not a winning winter look.
